WORLD NGO DAY 2022.

World NGO day is an international day dedicated to recognize, celebrate and honour all non-governmental and nonprofit organizations and the people behind them that contribute their time, efforts in making the society a better place to live in all year round. Each year World NGO day is celebrated on the 27th of February. World NGO day is celebrated in more than 89 countries and in over six continents. World NGO day honours the non-profit organizations and volunteers who give their time and resources to help make a difference in the world. World NGO day was officially proposed and recognized on 17th of April 2010 by 12 countries of the Baltic sea NGO forum in Vilnius, Lithuania. The member countries of the Baltic sea NGO forum were Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, lceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Norway and Sweden. On 23rd April 2012, the world NGO day was accepted by the Baltic sea of NGO forum committee under the German CBSS presidency at the Humboldt university

INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY 2022.

 Today, the 21st of February 2022, marks the international mother language day. The international mother language day was established as the initiative of Bangladesh in 1999 and is celebrated globally today. The day was approved by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1999, and it is now celebrated every year since 2000. The theme for this year 2022 international mother language day is "Using technology for multilingual learning: challenges and opportunities". Every year on February 21st, the world commemorates international mother language day to raise awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and promote multilingualism. The day is a part of a larger campaign to encourage the preservation and conservation of all languages spoken around the world. Today, the 20th of February 2022 marks the World Day of Social Justice. The theme for this year World Day of Social Justice is "Achieving social justice through formal employment". On the 26th of November 2007 at the 63rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), 20th February was declared as World Day for Social Justice. Consequently, the lnternational Labour Organization (ILO) on the 10th of June 2008 with a motive of fair globalization passed an ILO declaration on social justice unanimously. The day was first celebrated on the 20th of February 2009. Henceforth, World Day of Social Justice is celebrated on 20th February every year.
