Today, the 19th of March is celebrated  globally as World Social Work Day. This day is a reminder of the compassion, resilience and commitment of the social workers who stand as beacons of hope for those in need. Thank you for making a difference! The theme for this year's World Social Work Day 2024 is: "Buen Vivir: Shared Future for Transformative Change", which emphasizes the need for social workers to adopt innovative, community-led approaches that are grounded in indigenous wisdom and harmonious co-existence with nature.

On 3rd March each year, World Hearing Day is observed. Through collective action, communities, organizations, and individuals join forces to raise awareness of hearing health and advocate for accessible ear and hearing care across all populations. A number of World Hearing Day activities and initiatives are aimed at educating the public, advocating for policy changes, and fostering inclusive environments for individuals with hearing impairments. The theme for this year's World Hearing Day 2024 is: "Changing mindsets", reflects the importance of making ear and hearing care accessible to all. This involves breaking down barriers to access, including financial constraints, lack of awareness, and social stigma around hearing health.
