Every August 26th marks Women's Equality Day. This day honours the advancement of women's rights. It also reminds us of the efforts for women empowerment and have paved road for so many. The Women's Equality Day was designated by the US congress to celebrate the fact that United States women were given the right to vote in 1920. The theme for this year's Women's Equality Day 2022 is: "Hard Won........Not Done". Some of our fore sisters worked for years to obtain the privilege and the responsibility to vote.
