All these societal vices perpetuated by young people in Nigeria can also be quelled by young people themselves if the youth in local communities can come together as a team to say no to violent extremism, collaborate and build interfaith and intercultural dialogue forums for youth engagement and networking for continued conversations on peace education and peace building to foster unity, social cohesion so as to enhance intergenerational harmony, and to build trust among the diverse people of various ethnic and religious affiliations in Nigeria. Youths can also form voluntary local communities security outfits and volunteered on pro bono basis to safeguard their communities against external aggressions and intruders to protect the lives and properties of their community members.
