This day is a reminder of the compassion, resilience and commitment of the social workers who stand as beacons of hope for those in need. Thank you for making a difference! The theme for this year's World Social Work Day 2024 is: "Buen Vivir: Shared Future for Transformative Change", which emphasizes the need for social workers to adopt innovative, community-led approaches that are grounded in indigenous wisdom and harmonious co-existence with nature.
As the program manager of children and young people living for peace (CYPLP) Kaduna, Nigeria, l have carry out several projects and program activities for the benefit of the citizens in my community and beyond for societal good. Through my position as the program manager of children and young people living for peace (CYPLP) Nigeria, l have carried out people oriented projects and program activities that geared towards promoting peace, tolerance, peaceful coexistence, social cohesion and intergenerational harmony among local communities in Nigeria.
