Today, the 5th of September, 2022 marks the lnternational Day of Charity. In recognition of the role of charity in alleviating humanitarian crisis and human suffering within and among nations, as well as the efforts of charitable organizations and individuals, including the work of Mother Teresa, the United Nations (UN) in it's resolution A/RES/67/105 designated the 5th of September, the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa as the lnternational Day of Charity.
Children and Young People Living for Peace (CYPLP) as an organization join the global community in celebrating this day. Children and Young People Living for Peace (CYPLP) is an organic, volunteer of experts, youth focused and a think-tank non-governmental organization based in Kaduna state, Nigeria. CYPLP works primarily in serving vulnerable population of children, youth, elderly persons, people living with disabilities (PLWD's) and women in unserved, underserved, marginalized, underrepresented and disadvantaged local communities in Nigeria. On this day, we solicit for your continuous support and loyalty to aid our humanitarian works in ending poverty and uplifting the downtroddens from the fringes of the society.
