INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY 2022.

 In November 2011, the UNESCO General Conference proclaimed 30th April through UNESCO resolution (UNESCO 36 30Apr C/Resolution 39) as "lnternational  Jazz Day". Saturday 30th April 2022 is lnternational Jazz Day. Every year the 30th of April is celebrated globally as international jazz day. The theme for this year's international jazz day 2022 is " A call for global peace and unity ". It focuses on the importance of unity and peace through dialogue and diplomacy. Jazz brings people and cultures together. International jazz day is an opportunity to celebrate the power of jazz as a universal language of freedom to promote mutual understanding, tolerance and solidarity. INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY 2022.

 29th of April every year marks international dance day. The theme for this year's international dance day 2022 is "Dance your way to boost physical and mental health". The international dance day was created by the dance committee of the international theatre institute (ITI), the main partner for the performing arts of UNESCO. International dance day was celebrated on 29th April 1982 for the very first time. It was introduced in 1982 by the international dance council to encourage people across the globe to cherish other's dance forms. The day is also observed to pay tribute to French dance and ballet master, Jean - Georges Noverre.

INTERNATIONAL GIRLS IN ICT DAY 2022.

 Today, the 28th of April 2022 is celebrated as the lnternational Girls in ICT Day. The theme for this year's Girls in ICT Day is "Access and safety". For girls and young women to thrive in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers, they need safe and reliable access to the internet and digital tools. WORLD DAY FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK 2022.

World Day for Safety and Health at Work is observed every year on 28th April to promote safety and health in the workplace. The theme for this year's world day for safety and health at work 2022 is "Act together to build a positive safety and health culture". The international labour organization (ILO) is using this day to raise awareness on the adoption of safe practices in workplaces and the role that occupational safety and health services play. This day is an awareness raising campaign "intended to focus international attention on emerging trends in the field of occupational safety and health and on the magnitude of work-related injuries, diseases and fatalities worldwide". PEACE EDUCATION TRAINING PROGRAM, ROTARY BESPOKE POSITIVE PEACE AMBASSADOR PROJECT 2022.

 A one day peace education training program was carried out by me on the theme : " Activating positive peace through transformative pedagogy ". The event was held on saturday the 23rd of April 2022 at the Adonai children's home, barnawa, kaduna south, kaduna state, Nigeria. The peace education project was jointly carried out by a team of four Rotary bespoke peace associates from kaduna state in fulfilment for the award of ambasdador of peace program of Rotary international. The team include myself Mr. Enobong Ekwere (Team leader), Engr. Abdulrahman Hassan (member), Mr. Oche Eche (member) and Mr. Yusuf Musa (member). The project was centred on one of the eight pillars of positive peace, which is good relations with neighbours.
